Newest Edition!

As you all know I work at Lilly Pulitzer so I wanted to share with you some of my newest editions to my ever growing Lilly collection! 

I am in love with the Lexie Crew T-shirts! I bought the yellow yesterday but I also have the green and pink. They are so soft and comfortable and look great with jeans, white pants, shorts and match perfectly with all my Murfee scarves

What to say about the Murfee Scarf? Well they are just the perfect accessory if you ask me. They add that extra flare to any outfit and come in so many different colors and patterns you can't go wrong. I am currently obsessed with this print. It's called Day Lilly in Hotty pink. It will go perfectly with my new yellow Lexie Crew!

I always joke, if it were up to me I would never wear pants because all I ever want to be in is shorts. You can even find me sporting my nike running shorts all throughout the winter hahah. But these Buttercup Seersucker shorts are just too cute and the scallop on the bottom is so precious and makes them that much different from you everyday shorts. I am so tempted to get them in pink as well!

New Bedding at Garnet Hill!

When I graduated college in May, my mom asked me if I wanted a bigger bed. I was still in the same twin I got when I graduated into a big girl bed at age 3. So the answer was obviously yes, and thus began my search for not only new bedding but a whole new room. Well its still not done, but its half way there. Only I wish that Garnet Hill had this fantastic Lilly bedding out when I picked mine!

PINK Cupcakes

Girly. Fun. Bright. Summer. Lilly Pulitzer. Vineyard Vines. These are all words that I associate with the color pink. But cupcakes? Well, I was fooling around different baking blogs and came across this recipe and all I can say its perfect!

Pink Champagne Cupcakes

Champagne Cupcakes

1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® white cake mix

1 1/4 cups champagne

1/3 cup vegetable oil

3 egg whites

4 to 5 drops red food color

Champagne Frosting

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened

4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup champagne
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 to 5 drops red food color

 

Step 1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups.

Step 2: In large bowl, mix dry cake mix and champagne. Add oil, egg whites and food color. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.

Step 3: Bake 17 to 22 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

Step 4: In medium bowl, beat frosting ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Frost cupcakes. Sprinkle with garnishes, if desired. Store loosely covered.
